Composing written material
When it comes to writing, some children may lack the ability to perform this task because of a learning disability. With this in mind, teachers and parents can use the following tips to allow a child to write or to aid children and help them overcome the challenge of writing:
Free writing- set a time each day in which a child is able to write about anything and everything. When a child is given the oportunity to write about what they want, they are more willing to perform the task as well as enjoying it.
Support writing - have a child write daily by keeping a journal. Another way to support writing is by having them make their own book.
Provide extra time- if a child is struggling with writing, give them extra time to finish the writing assignment.

Alphasmart device is another awesome AT devise that allows a child to write and take notes. The Alphasmart device will easily allow you to save files in different sections. This is also light weight so children can carry it where ever they please.
